Got old T-shirts that you don't really wear laying around? Do you like upcycling your old and worn out things into new, fresh things? Then come learn how to make a trendy T-shirt quilt with Debbie Carlton! In this class, we will teach you how to cut your shirts apart and prepare them for making a fun T-shirt quilt. We will not have time to finish a whole quilt, so please plan on finishing this project at home. Never fear, for we will arm you with enough knowledge to continue at home!
your own machine, thread, scissors, seam ripper, etc. a cutting mat a rotary cutter a 24 inch quilting ruler and a 15 inch or bigger square up ruler(you can use a 12 1/2 inch square if you have smaller t-shirts) pressing cloth 6-12 T-shirts in the same size (preferably adult M or larger!) you will need french fuse stabilizer for this project, but you will be purchasing this at the class! You will need about 2 yards (@$6.99) yd) Bring a paper and pencil to write down notes.
